Popped Jowar (Lahya) is flavoured with a few spices to make this quick and healthy snack.
Popped Jowar is readily available at most grocery stores or specialty health stores.
One can easily make it at home by dry roasting jowar seeds.
If you have been stocking the Lahya for some time, just check them for crispness.
If they have become softer due to moisture, microwave them for 1 minute on high, cool, and then use.

- 1/4 cup?Roasted Peanuts (Moongphali)
- 2 tablespoon?Cooking oil , adjustable
- 1 tablespoon?Mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon?Cumin (Jeera) seeds
- 12?Curry leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon?Maharashtrian Goda Masala , optional
- 1/2 teaspoon?Asafoetida (hing)
- 1 teaspoon?Sugar , powdered
- 1/2 tablespoon?Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon?Turmeric powder (Haldi)
- Salt , to taste
